From the Legislature to the Administration, from concept to market launch, Erik Gundersen has unrivaled experience in cannabis policy.
As the former Executive Director of Maine’s Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP), Erik lead the state agency responsible for oversight of Maine’s medical and adult use cannabis programs. Under Gundersen’s leadership, Maine’s adult use cannabis program launched in the fall of 2020.
Prior to serving as Executive Direct of OCP, Gundersen served as Senior Policy Advisor to two former Speakers of the Maine House, including time as chief liaison to the Legislature’s Cannabis Legalization Implementation Committee, the committee which wrote the law for Maine’s adult use cannabis industry.
